Lo scambio giovanile “EU – to be or not to be” avrà luogo in Germania, vicino la città di Brema, dal 12 al 21 giugno 2017.
Parteciperanno allo scambio 44 giovani provenineti da 7 paesi europei – Ungheria, Italia, Repubblica Ceca, Romania, Olanda, Grecia e Germania. Gli scambi giovanili sono un’occasione unica per vivere un’esperienza internazionale, di apprendimento e crescita personale.
I Temi del progetto
After the Brexit a lot of Euro-skeptics have raised their voices of wanting to exit EU or highlighting the challenges that the EU is having: in float of refugees from all over the world, challenges with the borders, decreased economic growth in the EU because of the economic challenges and bailouts of some countries. EU has challenges and that’s clear. But also there are much bigger benefits of being in EU.
We want young people to discuss and learn about those challenges and those benefits. We want them to be aware of what being in the EU means. We want them to ask the difficult questions on the problems that the EU has, but also to be focused on figuring out solutions.
Therefore we invited partner organizations from the most EU skeptic counties and the biggest EU believers.
On the end we are expecting the youngsters to send a message to their politicians on what kind of Europe they want to see in the future and to ask them to work in that direction, because that is the mandate of the politicians – to represent our opinions and goals. We will also make political declaration with the conclusions from this youth exchange and we are going to send it to the relevant political and public factors – mayors, PMs, administration and so on.
We want the young people to take leadership role in shaping the EU, and not just watching how the older generations make decisions in our name.
We are going to use different methods of non-formal education: simulations, debates, world café, panel discussions, study visits, mixing with the locals, different presentations, workshops, task forces etc.
Vitto e Alloggio
Il progetto si svolgerà nelle campagne vicino Brema, in una struttura utilizzata per progetti scolastici, simile ad un ostello, con camerate e bagni in comune. La struttura è dotata di cucina, sala attività con giochi da tavolo, spazi all’aperto dove è possibile fare sport ed escursioni nei sentieri di campagna. Si terranno 3 pasti principali al giorno (colazione, pranzo e cena) e quando necessario saranno offerti coffee break tra le attività.
Profilo dei partecipanti:
It should be young people that are interested about EU, discussing politics, sharing experiences with their peers from other countries, talking about the difficult issues in the EU such as immigration, refugees, shared policies, but also talking about the good things like sharing values, economic freedom, the freedom of movement and so on. The youngsters should speak good English since it will be a lot of workshops with debating, panels, talking, presentations and so on.
Requisiti e condizioni di partecipazione
Selezioniamo per il progetto:
- 6 giovani di età 18-25 anni
- interessati a vivere un’esperienza internazionale con 44 ragazzi europei
- con voglia di mettersi in gioco, partecipare alle attività dello scambio, discutere di Europa e immaginare insieme un futuro migliore per l’Unione Europea
- con una conoscenza dell’inglese sufficiente a poter prendere parte alle attività del progetto
- giovani con la possibilità di partecipare a un incontro di preparazione al progetto, da svolgere prima della partenza, e uno di valutazione post-progetto, da svolgere subito dopo la fine del progetto
Il progetto coprirà tutte le spese di vitto e alloggio per la durata dello scambio.
I costi di viaggio (dal luogo di residenza a Brema e ritorno) saranno rimborsati subito dopo la fine del progetto e fino ad un massimo di 170 euro.
Il progetto vuole coinvolgere anche giovani con poche opportunità, in caso di gravi problemi economici il partner tedesco potrebbe decidere di anticipare i costi di viaggio del partecipante.
